The Grace Christian Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Boys' Home with points to spare, taking the game 69-50. With that victory, Grace Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Justin Hain was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Cashion, who scored ten points along with six assists and two steals.
The win (which was Grace Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Boys' Home, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Grace Christian will head out on the road to challenge Fishburne Military at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fishburne Military is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Boys' Home won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christian Heritage Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Christian Heritage Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
