Despite the defeat, Monmouth Regional had strong showings from Dymeire O'Neal, who rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and Ryan Crawford, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave O'Neal a new career-high in rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Barnegat was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Liberty 42-14 at home. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.
