The biggest upset of the week belonged to San Pasqual, who took down 153rd ranked San Pasqual, 20-14.
Escondido moved up to 295 from 357 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Avocado - East. The Cougars were able to make move up by defeating the Golden Eagles 20-14.
Escondido's Mitch Bartram and JC Hernandez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bartram has thrown for 320 yards this season, while Hernandez, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has eight catches for 239 yards. Rancho Buena Vista's Daviante Sayles leads the league in rushing yards with 1164.
Mission Hills extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating San Marcos, 42-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
