Sumter Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aj Danzy led the charge by scoring 36 points. The game was Danzy's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Quayshawn While was another key contributor, scoring 25 points.
Carolina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Sumter Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carolina Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
