Basketball Recap: White County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

White County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Livingston Academy Wildcats with a sharp 64-40 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

White County had a senior duo take command as Gracie Clark dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards and Bella Winningham dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten steals. Winningham continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Selby, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

White County's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Livingston Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

White County will venture away from home to take on York Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Livingston Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
