The Park View Patriots lost against the Woodgrove Wolverines back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Park View took a serious blow against Woodgrove, falling 72-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Park View has scored all season.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Messiah Dixon, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Nicola, who scored eight points.
Woodgrove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Colin Fuller led the charge by scoring 13 points. Dane Marsh was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Park View's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Woodgrove, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
Park View will take on Dominion at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Park View is facing Dominion at the right time seeing as Dominion is stuck on a 18-game losing streak. As for Woodgrove, they will head out on the road to face off against Broad Run at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
