The Scotts Valley Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their tough 72-51 defeat to San Luis Obispo might stick with them for a while.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Luis Obispo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshua Chaves, who scored 14 points. The contest was Chaves' third in a row with at least ten points. Vaughn Otto was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Scotts Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for San Luis Obispo, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Scotts Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Monte Vista Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Monte Vista Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Scotts Valley in California (Monte Vista Christian is ranked 117th, while Scotts Valley is ranked 340th). As for San Luis Obispo, they will square off against Saratoga at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
