Lakeside Lutheran had won two straight games and Molly Muchka did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Columbus Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win thanks in part to Muchka, who had 16 digs and four assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

The victory didn't come easy: Columbus scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Columbus still got an impressive performance from Gwen Kalafut, who had 14 digs and one assist. Kalafut is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Lakeside Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 15-22. As for Columbus, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.

Lakeside Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Wilmot on the 21st. As for Columbus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Dodgeville on the 21st.
