King's Academy hasn't had much luck against Menlo School recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. King's Academy will head out to face off against Menlo School at 1:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (King's Academy 7.2, Menlo School 11.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
Menlo School will be up against a hot King's Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Knights claimed a resounding 37-6 victory over Capuchino. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 30-point advantage.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to King's Academy's defense and their five sacks. Capuchino's QB won't forget Martinez anytime soon given he sacked him twice. King's Academy received some extra help from Vargas, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Menlo School, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They enjoyed a cozy 21-6 win over Sacred Heart Prep on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Gators are ranked 349th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Saturday's game might be decided on the ground. King's Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 156.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Menlo School struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 178.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
King's Academy couldn't quite get it done against Menlo School in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 as they fell 34-21. Can King's Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
