They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lafayette Christian. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.
 Evangel Christian pushed their record up to 15-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.3 runs. As for Southern Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
