Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Miller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pasco over River Ridge

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pasco can now relate to. The contest between them and the River Ridge Royal Knights didn't end well, with the Pasco Pirates falling 83-66. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Pasco lost on Monday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Miller, who went 10 for 14 en route to 25 points along with five boards and three steals. That's the most points Miller has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Gebru, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 19 points and five steals.

Leading River Ridge to victory were Jacob Yeager and John Golden. Yeager went 6 for 11 en route to 22 points and six assists, while Golden posted 17 points and seven rebounds. The match was Yeager's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Tommy DeLoreto was another key player, going 6 of 7 on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for River Ridge, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.

Pasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-45 defeat against Wesley Chapel on the 5th.
