Hays came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Junction City Bluejays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

While Hays won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25.

Zoe Winter paced Hays' offense, picking up seven kills. Winter got some help from Brooke Bieker and her ten assists. Cassidy Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hays' win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Junction City, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Hays has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Topeka on the 16th. Junction City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
