Choctaw had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They blew past the Westmoore Jaguars 11-1. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 17 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Choctaw's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Westmoore, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-13.
