Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will head into Thursday's contest after some sweet revenge against Tekamah-Herman: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Tekamah-Herman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of 4's match. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Tekamah-Herman 56-18. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-9.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jayde Kreifels, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards, and Keegan Francis, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 15 points and eight steals. Those eight steals gave Francis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Stockamp, who posted six points and four steals.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Elmwood-Murdock came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 51-31 margin over the Rockets. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder better focus on containing Brooklyn Mans and Brooke Goudie as the pair were huge in Elmwood-Murdock's win. Mans went 7 of 15 on her way to 19 points along with five assists and three steals, while Goudie put up 13 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The contest was Mans' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Hohman, who had seven points.
Elmwood-Murdock's record is now 5-2. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Elmwood-Murdock struggles in that department as they've been averaging 21.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder came up short against Elmwood-Murdock when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 39-29. Can Logan View/Scribner-Snyder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
