West Alameda County - Foothill recap November 13, 2013
San Leandro added to the longest winning streak in West Alameda County - Foothill this week by beating Bishop O'Dowd, 46-3. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Pirates.
San Leandro took down the Dragons 46-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Thanks to the talents of Chris Hagmaier and Bryce Grandison, Bishop O'Dowd has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Hagmaier is tops in the league in passing with 711 yards, while Grandison has rushed for 370 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Berkeley's Travis Dennis, with 488 yards on 31 catches.
Castro Valley made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,463 from 4,806. The improvement was largely due to a 31-0 victory over the Yellowjackets last week.
