For Murfreesboro, this counts as revenge for the 46-0 loss Mineral Springs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Murfreesboro's win was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Foreman and 1-9 Horatio (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.3% over those games). As for Mineral Springs, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1.
