It was a proper cat-fight when Southwind challenged Arlington on Tuesday. The Southwind Jaguars skirted past the Arlington Tigers 47-44. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars who have now won four games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southwind to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kingston Goodwin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Ronald Towns was another key player, putting up nine points.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rod Lucas, who made all 7 shots he took to post 14 points. Evan Millrany also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first board of the season.

Southwind is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Arlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
