The Pierce Bears''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took down Durham 35-18. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Pierce has managed all season.
Pierce had a senior duo take command as David Aguirre rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.9 yards per carry and Alfonso Orozco rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Nathan Gomez, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Pierce's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Durham, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Durham also has no future games currently scheduled.
