Last Friday, Wartburg Central had to suffer through a rough 72-43 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils. Wartburg Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Oakdale pushed their score all the way to 71 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 85-71 bruising from Harriman. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oakdale in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.
Wartburg Central has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Oakdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
Wartburg Central came up short against the Eagles in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 73-61. Can Wartburg Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
