The Notasulga Blue Devils and the Millry Wildcats squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Notasulga Blue Devils had to settle for second. Notasulga took a serious blow against Millry, falling 55-0. Notasulga's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Daylon Edmunds went supernova for Millry, rushing for 121 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 149 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Eli Adams also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Notasulga now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Millry, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Notasulga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Millry will face off against Elba at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Elba is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
