The team relied heavily on Hailey Helmstetter, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Carly Franklin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Central Bucks East pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Gwynedd Mercy Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Gwynedd Mercy Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Central Bucks East has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. It's a different story for Gwynedd Mercy Academy, though, as they've been averaging 10.4 hits. Given Central Bucks East's sizable advantage in that area, the Monarchs will need to find a way to close that gap.
