Lewiston has gone 8-2 against Post Falls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bengals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 12:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lewiston has four straight wins, Post Falls has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Lewiston sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over Lake City.

Zack Bambacigno made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Lewiston is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-3 otherwise. Bambacigno was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Guy Krasselt, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Collins, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Post Falls didn't have quite enough to beat Skyline on Saturday and fell 2-1.
Post Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karl Berend, who went 3-for-4 with one triple.
Post Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lewiston, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Lewiston beat Post Falls 8-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
