Even though the Battlefield Bobcats have not done well against the Patriot Pioneers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Battlefield came out on top in a nail-biter against Patriot and snuck past 46-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Battlefield.

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sweeney has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Crystal Wright, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Battlefield's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Patriot, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
