The Ferris Saxons will head out on the road to square off against the Ridgeline Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Ferris suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of University by a score of 56-53.
Meanwhile, Ridgeline faced Gonzaga Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ridgeline ended up on the wrong side of a rough 81-61 walloping at the hands of Gonzaga Prep on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Ridgeline has suffered yet this season.
Ridgeline's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Easton Amend, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists, and Caden Andreas who scored 12 points along with three steals. Brayden Allen was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Ridgeline, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
Ferris came up short against Ridgeline when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 68-58. Can Ferris avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
