 Meanwhile,  Granite Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost  14-4 to Santa Fe Christian.
 Point Loma's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Granite Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
 Point Loma couldn't quite finish off Granite Hills when the teams last played  back in April of 2018 and fell  5-3. Thankfully for Point Loma,  Catie Dobbs (who   tossed six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
