Volleyball Recap: North Broward Prep Starts Season with Win Against FAU High

North Broward Prep took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the FAU High Owls as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: North Broward Prep took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-3, 25-10, 25-10.

North Broward Prep was led to victory by Emma Luehrs and Bruna Saporiti. Luehrs had four digs and two aces, while Saporiti had four assists and two aces. Luehrs is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

FAU High's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, North Broward Prep will head out on the road to challenge NSU University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for FAU High, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Don Soffer Aventura at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
