The Pulaski Red Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the De Pere Redbirds at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pulaski's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so De Pere's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Pulaski is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Sheboygan South on Saturday as they made off with a 25-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Jace Olson and Braun Wotruba were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Olson tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Wotruba tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At the plate, Olson went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Wotruba scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Bryce Wotruba was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one triple. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Jacob McDonald also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Pulaski always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, De Pere suffered their closest loss since April 11, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Bay Port by a score of 5-3. The loss put an end to the Redbirds' undefeated start to the season.
Trenton Kriewaldt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Mason Sequin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
The win made it two in a row for Pulaski and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for De Pere, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Pulaski couldn't quite get it done against De Pere in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Red Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
