The Cumberland Academy Knights lost against the Bullard Panthers back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cumberland Academy fell just short of Bullard by a score of 2-1.

Cumberland Academy dropped their record down to 5-7-1 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Bullard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cumberland Academy will take on Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bullard, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Athens at 7:00 p.m.
