After a 11-3 finish the last time they played, the LAMP Golden Tigers and the West Point Warriors decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Both teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked LAMP's first draw of the season.
LAMP's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season. As for West Point, they moved theirs to 4-1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LAMP will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Dale County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Haleyville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
