Reading Memorial had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Westford Academy on Monday. The Rockets put the hurt on the Grey Ghosts with a sharp 15-8 win. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Reading Memorial's third in a row) raised their record to 13-1. As for Westford Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reading Memorial will take on Arlington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spy Ponders have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Westford Academy, they will face off against Methuen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
