After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seaford, Malverne was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Lawrence Golden Tornadoes 34-19. The Mules' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win got Malverne back to even at 3-3. As for Lawrence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Malverne will challenge rival Plainedge on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to face off against their familiar foe Oyster Bay at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
