Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Pinnacle Classical Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Braylon Gentry. The Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors on Thursday thanks in part to Gentry, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten boards. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kadan Campion, who posted nine points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Despite the defeat, Veritas Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lee Burgess had 14 points. Owen Foote was another key player, putting up seven points.

Pinnacle Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Pinnacle Classical Academy has already played their next match, an 84-28 victory against Nebo Crossing Academy on the 3rd. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-43 defeat against Gospel Light Christian on the 31st.
