Kamiakin barely beat Southridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Braves blew past the Suns 28-7 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on four straight.

Southridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Borisch, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown. Tayton Jackman helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

Kamiakin's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Southridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Kamiakin has already played their next game, a 42-14 victory against Pasco on the 16th. As for Southridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-27 win against Hermiston on the 16th.
