Cook County had won two straight road games and Denali Blackwell did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Cook County Vikings blew past the Blackduck Drakes 85-55 for which the team can thank Blackwell, who to rack up 43 points and five rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least 17 points.

Parker Backstrom was another key player, putting up eight points along with 12 boards and six blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in blocks.

Cook County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points over those games. Blackduck is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coming up, Cook County will square off against Two Harbors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blackduck, they will challenge Red Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
