South San Antonio extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-2. They took down the Cole Cougars 59-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.

South San Antonio got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Miguel Bravo out in front who posted 19 points. Adam Guerrero was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cole fell to 6-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cole's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayvin Ybarra, who shot 55% from the field en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Aric Powell, who earned nine points.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South San Antonio will venture away from home to challenge Davenport at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Cole, they will head out to take on Fox Tech at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
