Luis Valenzuela put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Thursday. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in March of 2024.

Valenzuela and Chandler will take on Saguaro in a tournament on Friday. Saguaro will enter the matchup having just beaten O'Connor, so Chandler will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
