Brio College Prep was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (89-85), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.

Brio College Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leslie Aguayo out in front who had nine aces. The dominant performance also gave Aguayo a new career-high in kills (three). Kathie Chora was another key player, getting nine aces and eight kills.
They weren't the only good servers: Brio College Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Magnolia Science Academy Carson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Magnolia Science Academy Carson was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-12.
Magnolia Science Academy Carson's win came from a few key players Brio College Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was ANNALYN ARREOLA, who had seven aces. ARREOLA is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of SAMAIYAH BROWN, who had eight aces.
Brio College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Magnolia Science Academy Carson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
