St. Joseph's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Maltese, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Cole Spencer, who scored six points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. Joseph struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Imani Christian Academy pulled down 20 offensive rebounds.
It was another big night for Nate Brazil, who scored 24 points along with six assists and six steals for Imani Christian Academy. The game was Brazil's third in a row with at least ten points. Tristen Brown was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and five assists.
St. Joseph's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Imani Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
St. Joseph will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hillel Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Imani Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Aquinas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquinas Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Imani Christian Academy is ranked 128th).
