After a string of four wins, Crivitz's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Suring Eagles, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolverines haven't been shut out since back in August.
Marli Meyers paced Crivitz's offense, picking up 15 kills. Meyers got some help from Hattie Frievalt and her 17 assists. Finally, Kaylie Polzin kept Crivitz's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Crivitz's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-6. As for Suring, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
