Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Mecklenburg). They came out on top against the Sun Valley Spartans by a score of 71-58 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Sun Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Mecklenburg will welcome North Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Sun Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Parkwood at 7:30 p.m.
