The Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders will challenge the Marshfield Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past La Crosse Central 15-0. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Riverhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sophia Nelson looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sydney Holberg, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Annabelle Ross was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshfield). Everything went their way against Holmen on Friday as they made off with an 18-4 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Molly Fox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Lillian Griesbach was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Madison Kraus, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Marshfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .415. However, it's not like Marshfield struggles in that department as they've averaged .330. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln beat Marshfield 8-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Red Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
