Despite the defeat, Eaton saw an underclassman step up: Andrew Loyd scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Lucas Stone was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kent Denver to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Fay, who scored 17 points. The game was Fay's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alex Padalino, who scored 14 points.
Eaton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kent Denver, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Eaton will be playing at home against Peak to Peak on Tuesday. As for Kent Denver, they will face off against Roaring Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
