Baseball Recap: Althoff Catholic's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mattoon, Althoff Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Memphis University School Owls by a score of 13-8. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Crusaders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Bo Gomric, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Evan Hoffman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
