Andrea Duncan was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 12 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of James Island's points. Another player making a difference was Alaina Graf, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Wando lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isabel Waite. Despite the final result, she scored 10 points along with 3 steals. Selah George was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 steals.
The win makes it two in a row for James Island and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Wando, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
James Island will head out on the road to face off against Stall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wando, they will be playing at home against Bishop England at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
