In other batting news, Erick Flores and Aiden Delaney did most of the damage at the plate: Flores went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Delaney went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cooper Miskelly, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lightridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bay Port only posted an OBP of .185.
Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lightridge, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Heritage beat Lightridge 8-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Do the Pride have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lightning turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
