Bennett is 8-1 against Middle Park since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Bennett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Bennett not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 30th (when they won 10-0). They blew past Arvada 10-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Cooper Klausner's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bennett is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-7 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Trevor Evans was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Cougar Cronk was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Bennett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2025.
Meanwhile, Middle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Alameda, falling 19-2.
Middle Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Dugwyler, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Middle Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bennett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Middle Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bennett hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. It's a different story for Middle Park, though, as they've only averaged .238. Will they be able to contain Bennett's hitters?
Everything went Bennett's way against Middle Park when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Bennett made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
