There's no place like home for Aquinas Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Sunday. They put the hurt on the Avella Eagles with a sharp 82-57 victory on Tuesday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Avella's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan Bell, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points Bell has posted since back in January of 2024. Brayden Fuller was another key player, putting up seven points along with ten assists and six steals.

Aquinas Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Avella, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.

Aquinas Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-56 defeat against Nazareth Prep on the 7th. As for Avella, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-40 victory against Beaver County Christian on the 7th.
