There's no place like home for the Grand View Christian Thunder, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Perry on Saturday as Grand View Christian made off with a 58-34 victory. The victory was just what Grand View Christian needed coming off of a 63-37 loss in their prior game.
Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karagyn Whelchel, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Maci Tunink, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Grand View Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Perry, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing West Marshall the next time they take the court. Grand View Christian will head out to face West Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Perry will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
