The Stevenson Pirates can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pajaro Valley 58-26 at home. Stevenson's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Nile Glover was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Glover set a new season high mark in steals with five. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Marquess, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Stevenson's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pajaro Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Stevenson and Nevada Union will face off at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
