Given Booker T. Washington's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Bullock County is ranked 397th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Booker T. Washington was led to victory by KeAundra Tatum and Tylizea Sanders. Tatum dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Sanders scored 14 points along with six assists and three steals. The match was Sanders' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Fitzpatrick, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Booker T. Washington pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Bullock County, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Booker T. Washington will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bullock County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Barbour County at 4:30 p.m. on January 6th.
